Dhananjay Kumar in Aakash Chawade’s research group just published a paper entitled Affordable Phenotyping of Winter Wheat under Field and Controlled Conditions for Drought Tolerance in the journal Agronomy. In this paper the authors describe a phenotyping system with low-cost consumer-grade digital cameras mounted on a cart that can be used to characterize germplasm for drought tolerance. The research was supported by NordPlant funds to Aakash Chawade, and we congratulate the authors on their publication!
